LEONORA & DAVID
DESTINATION WEDDING ON LAKE GARDA ∙ TENUTA SELVA CAPUZZA
Some weddings unfold with effortless ease because every moment is given the time it deserves.
Leonora and David travelled from Germany to celebrate their destination wedding on Lake Garda, choosing Tenuta Selva Capuzza as the setting to bring together family and friends for a day shaped by beautiful landscapes, warm light, genuine emotions and shared moments.
Rather than following a strict timeline, they created a natural rhythm. That pace allowed every part of the day to unfold organically, resulting in photographs that feel honest, effortless and deeply connected to the experience itself.
The Beauty of Taking Time
Every wedding story begins long before the ceremony.
It begins in the quiet anticipation of the morning, where the final preparations, small gestures, meaningful glances and unspoken emotions naturally come together.
These are moments that can never be recreated. They only exist because there is time to experience them—and this is where every authentic wedding story truly begins.
A First Look Before the Ceremony
One of the most meaningful moments of the day was their First Look.
Before joining their guests, Leonora and David met beside the small lake at the foot of the Tower of San Martino della Battaglia, surrounded by silence and far from the anticipation of the ceremony.
A First Look isn't about tradition. It's about creating space for yourselves.
For us, it is always one of the most intimate parts of the day to document. There is no direction, no performance—just two people sharing a few quiet minutes together before everything begins, experiencing an emotion that belongs entirely to them.
An Intimate Ceremony
Surrounded by the vineyards and olive groves of Tenuta Selva Capuzza, Leonora and David exchanged their vows beneath the estate's traditional covered courtyard, gathered with the people who matter most.
While the surrounding landscape defines the character of the estate, the ceremony itself unfolded in a more intimate setting, where the architecture, the soft light and the closeness of family and friends created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and deeply personal.
The most meaningful emotions are rarely dramatic. They reveal themselves in quiet details—a hand reaching for another, a restrained smile, a glance that says more than words ever could.
This is where documentary wedding photography finds its true purpose: preserving those fleeting moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed, yet become the memories couples cherish most.
A Celebration in the Italian Countryside
Into the evening
After the ceremony, the day begins to slow.
Guests make their way through the estate, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and the timeless landscapes of the Italian countryside. Music fills the air, aperitifs are served outdoors, conversations grow longer, and as the afternoon light softens, everyone settles into the celebration without ever feeling the need to watch the time.
Every detail contributes to the atmosphere—the floral design, the beautifully set tables, the clink of glasses, and the golden light that gently welcomes the evening reception.
An elegant wedding reception isn't defined by extravagance.
It's about creating an experience where every guest feels completely at ease, immersed in a setting that feels both beautiful and effortlessly authentic.
A Few Quiet Moments Together
One of the reasons this wedding felt so effortless was the way time was planned throughout the day.
There was no long interruption, no staged photo session—just a few quiet moments together, taking advantage of the soft late-afternoon light and the beautiful surroundings of the estate.
When a wedding timeline is thoughtfully designed, portraits become part of the celebration rather than a pause from it.
Couples can remain fully present, knowing their photographs will naturally unfold alongside the experience instead of taking them away from it.
When the Celebration Takes Over
With the cake cutting, the atmosphere shifts once again.
The music grows louder, formal shoes are quietly abandoned, and the evening gives way to dancing, laughter and embraces. The carefully planned timeline fades into the background as everyone becomes fully immersed in the celebration.
This is the moment when a wedding no longer feels like an event.
It simply becomes a celebration—where no one is thinking about the camera, and every photograph is shaped by genuine joy, movement and connection.

A Wedding Shaped by Time and Place
Leonora and David's wedding is a beautiful reminder that a meaningful wedding story is about far more than a remarkable venue or beautiful light.
It is the balance between thoughtful planning and the freedom to experience every moment without feeling rushed that allows a day to unfold naturally.
When each part of the celebration is given the time it deserves, photography becomes a quiet presence rather than an interruption.
This is the kind of story we are always drawn to—creating refined, editorial imagery that preserves not only how a wedding looked, but how it felt.
